Top view of complete hole:

Tee-box from side: 12” x 12” made from 0.75” white vinyl tape. It will always be located in this position for all holes.

Outside corner: Shows (optional support boards under the plywood and) the plywood with carpet sticking out under the 2”x”4” frame of the walls. Screws go up through the plywood into the framing walls.

Hole (cup) from the side: 6” round black felt that's laying on top of the carpet.
