Awards will be given for the best undergraduate and graduate student papers. Instructions for preparing and submitting papers are available on the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/micsymposium.org\/mics2018\/authors\/submissions\/\"><em>Submissions<\/em><\/a>\u00a0page.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/micsymposium.org\/mics2018\/students\/programming-contest\/\"><strong>Programming Contest<\/strong><\/a>, held Friday, April 6th from 6:30-9:30 PM, enables 3-person programming teams to compete against one another in solving a series of challenging programming problems. A team may use either Java, C\/C++, or Python to create their solutions. Complete contest rules and registration information are available on the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/micsymposium.org\/mics2018\/students\/programming-contest\/\"><em>Programming Contest<\/em><\/a>\u00a0page.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/micsymposium.org\/mics2018\/students\/robotics-contest\/\"><strong>Robotics Contest<\/strong><\/a>, held Friday, April 6th from 4:00-6:00 PM, will allow student teams to build and program robots to compete one-on-one against each other.
