The Midwest Instruction and Computing Symposium (MICS) is a regional conference dedicated to providing an educational experience to students and instructors at higher education institutions. The conference focuses on the teaching of computing and its use in all disciplines and the incorporation of the study of this technology in the curriculum.
Activities include the presentation of technical papers and posters, as well as programming and robotics competitions. Participants typically come from Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.
This year MICS will be held at University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire on March 27th and March 28th.

Parking Notice
Every one who registered for the conference will be getting a notification from our parking services. If you are not driving to campus you can ignore this notice. This notice is just for the drivers of vehicles that will be parked on campus Friday. Please be sure to fill out the form included in that e-mail BEFORE you park on campus or you may receive a ticket.
If you are using an apple product you will need to call into register your car as their system does not work well with apple based systems. Their number is (715) 836 – 2544; you can call them the morning of the conference.
When filling out the form, you will need to supply the full plate number of your vehicle including the state of the plate.
On Saturday, parking is not enforced in the F/G/S stalls.
